  1. For my Meaning Portfolio Activities, I chose to take the 20-10 test and "Dedicate Your Work" In the 20-10 test, I found that when I asked myself whether I would be living the life I am now if I knew I was going to die in ten years, I would be living very differently. I would do everything differently from eat to random social interactions. I guess this means I have not really found true meaning in my life. I don't really know what else it means. If I had to dedicate my work, I would dedicate it to whoever influenced me in the work I did. For example, I would dedicate a mother's day poem to my mother. Or if I wrote a song, I would dedicate it to whoever I wrote the song about.

  2. For the portfolio activities, I did the Dedicated You Work and the 20-10 Test. For the first activity, I would dedicate my work to someone who has really inspired my and has influenced my life, and also someone who is a big part of my life. For the 20-10 test, I looked at how my life would be different if I had only ten years. If that were true, I think that I would volunteer more and help others. Also, I think that I would make more social interactions.

  3. For my first activity I did the 20-10. hypothetically if I was about to die I would definitely not stick around Arapahoe high school and if I knew I was going to die what I would do is go and find a meaning to my life and I would want to see the world while seeing the world I would want to change things for the better to.

The next activity I did was dedicate my work but there have been no masterpieces that i feel are worthy to dedicate.
I would have done Sabbath but I wouldn't have done this then

  4. The first activity I did was the 20-10 test. I wouldn’t take the 20 mil and live only 10 more years because I’m still young and have so much to experience past 10 years. Yes I would have money, but just because you don’t have money doesn’t mean you’re happy. I know I could live a more full fulfilling life without millions of dollars.

The second activity I took part in is dedicate your work, and I decided to dedicate my group's wiki space to neurologists and brain scientists who spend their days diving deep into a massively complex system know as the brain. Some of the things hurts my brain just thinking about it. Kudos.

  5. For my meaning activities I chose to do the 20-10 test and measure my spirit. For the 20-10 test I realized that although I would change some of the specific details and goals I have, I would still try to live a good life to the best of my ability. For measure my spirit I took the INSPIRIT test and it told me that I have a healthy sense of well-being. I partially expected this because I feel like I can see the good parts of life and accept the bad ones.

  6. For my meaning portfolio, I chose to "Take a Sabbath" and do the 20-10 test. For the "Take a Sabbath," it ended up being an epic failure but it was worth a shot. I tried to just relax and reflect on the school year. However, it failed because being a teenager, I couldn't turn my cell phone off or even relax. I checked my email multiple times through out the day out of habit. I did not find anything about myself from the "Take a Sabbath." For my "20-10 test," I decided that I would not still be a caddie if I had 20 million dollar. I also don't intend to be caddeing in 10 years so changing that didn't matter. But it did occur to me that in ten years, I do want to have changed some of my habits and some of what I focus on. I realized that I won't be happy if I don't change some of my life but some of it needs to stay the same.

  7. For my meaning portfolio activities I chose to take the 20-10 test and dedicate your work. In the 20-10 test, I looked at if I would live my life differently if I had $20 million in the bank. Outside of school, I would defiantly live differently. I would travel the world and live life to the max. This tells me that I should have more fun with my life right now even though I don't have that money. In the other activity, dedicate your work, I dedicated my play in my baseball game to my mom. This caused me to try a lot harder because I knew that I was playing for someone else and myself. It made the game seem a lot more personal. Also, this activity gave me meaning in playing.

  8. One activity I did for meaning was say thanks. I feel like I am a pretty grateful person in general, and try to say thanks a lot of the time. The second activity I did was picture yourself at ninety. When I am ninety, hopefully I will have grand kids and will be somewhat perky and not some old nasty geezer.

  9. For my porfolio activities I did say thanks and picture yourself at ninety. I feel that I am a pretty good at saying thank you in general. I try to say thanks to anybody for even the smallest of things. For picture yourself at ninety I pictured my self as having a husband, children, and cute grandchildren. I think I will still be a very happy person and hopefully I will have accomplished everything I wanted to and I will still be doing things I love.

  10. For my portfolio activities i decided to do Say Thanks and Picture Yourself at Ninety. I feel like I'm pretty good about saying thank you to people. I try to say thank you for even minor things. For the Picture Yourself at Ninety I picture myself with a husband, children, and lots of grandchildren. I picture myself as a happy senior citizen.

  11. For my portfolio activities, I chose to take the 20-10 test and picture myself at 90. For the 20-10 test, I realized that if I only had 10 years to live, then I would try the craziest things I could think of. I would drop out of school and travel to places I've never heard of and do outrageous things. For picture yourself at 90, I saw myself as the retired Dean of Athletics at The Ohio State University. I live in Columbus and go to every Ohio State function. I am also married with kids and grandkids who all live in Columbus.

  12. For my portfolio activities I did the 20-10 test and the Say Thanks. If I only had 10 years to live, I would convince my parents to travel the world. I would also try to find a meaning in my life. For the say thanks I choose to do the one-a-day thanks. I tried being thankful for one thing each day.

  13. For my portfolio activities I did the 20-10 test and Say Thanks. If I only had ten years to live, I would no longer attend school. I would travel all over the world, sky dive, scuba dive, and do other amazing things and spend more time appreciating things rather than hating things. For Say Thanks, I chose to do the one-a-day. I say thank you to someone at least once a day. Even if it is so small as someone holding a dore open. Its not hard to say thank you so why not do it all the time.

  14. For my Meaning Portfolio, I choose the 20-10 test and "Dedicate Your Work". For the twenty test I thought about the things I would do if I had 20 million dollars. I would defiently save some for college, and donate some to various organization. But, if I had ten years to live I would spend more time with my grandparents in Indiana. And I probably would stay in school and try to get the job of my dreams. For the "Dedicate Your Work", I would have to dedicate my hard work in school to my parents because without them pushing me so hard I won't learn the importance of responsibility.

  15. For the meaning portfolio activities I chose the 20-10 test and the Picture Yourself at Ninety. If I had that much money, I would have a stellar house... and I would still work if I had a job that I absolutely loved. Even though I would be set with that money, I would still want to work so I could always support my church and charities. If I only had ten years tops, I would definitely rethink my life. I have not started my career yet but if I was not in a job I adored then I would not stay in it. If I did love my job I would only keep it if it could work around the schedule of my family so I could see them 24/7. I can picture myself as ninety, but it is hard to know what I will regret because I have not started a career and I am not married with kids. I hope I will stay true to myself and when I am actually ninety I will not have any regrets.

  16. For my portfolio activities I took the 20-10 and the picture yourself at Ninety. I realized that if I was ninety right now I wouldn't feel like I did very much with my life and i would be disappointed in myself. If I had 20 mill I would be living life very differently. I would work because I wanted to work, not because i had to, do things that I wanted to do. If I had 10 years to live i think I would live similarly to if i had the 20 mill but do it all sooner and maybe not live in the moment as much because I'd be thinking of all the other things i had to do. Hopefully I can achieve some of my goals so I won't disappoint myself later in life.

  17. For my activities I did 20-10 test and picture your self at nintey. For the 20-10 test I feel that if I knew I was going to die I would go do something worth while in my lfe right then and hopefully find my meaning in life through that. For the picture yourself at nintey I would hope I was looking back on all my adventures and be able to tell my grandchildren all of the stories.

  18. For my portfolio activities, I did "Picture Yourself Ninety" and "Say Thanks". When I'm ninety, I see myself as one of those people who is still playing poker and running the treadmill. I don't ever wnat to grow up to be a stooge and a person who is just sick of life. "Age is but a number" and that's a great motto to live by. If you have meaning in your life, then your nineties will seem life your thirties. Asa person, I think that I am very gretful and humble for the things in my life. Even when a teacher hands back a paper, I say thanks. I think being humble can really impact a person's life, as well as the people they share it with.

  19. I did Picture Yourself Ninety and Say Thanks. Seeing my self as ninety is a pretty tough for me because I really don't know what I'll do for my life yet. Noticeing that a job really affects people's lives, I guess I'll have to wait a little while longer before I even get an idea. For saying thanks, I found out that I do it just about every day. When I am around people, I try to accept them, even if they really creep me out. Even if they do a small thing for me like pass some salt ( for lack of a better example) at lunch, I say thanks. I think that by reckonizeing things that people do, even if it is really small, it makes them feel special and they will appreciate you more.

  20. For my meaning portfolio, I did 'Take the 20-10 Test,' and 'Picture Yourself at Ninety.' If I had inherited $20 million dollars, I would most likely live the same way, with maybe a few add ons, but not many. I also picture myself as one of those little old sweet ladies who think of all the kids as their own grandkids, and tell many stories of the good old days.

  21. One of the activities I did was taking the 20-10 test. It really told me a lot about myself. I realized that my priorities in life aren't what they should be. For example, if I had only one month to live, then I would spend all the rest of my money on exciting things I have never done. Also, if I was given $20 million, I would go crazy on how many non-needed items I would purchase. This states a lot about my character and what my priorities are in my life: myself and not others. The second activity I did was I took a Sabbath, which is a pretty regular thing for me considering I'm Catholic and have been raised one all my life, including going to a Catholic school. Not using any technology to communicate with friends and just spending time with my family really was an awesome experience for me. I learned how fun and relaxing just sitting on the couch and laughing away to my family's stupid jokes can be. It really taught me a lot.

  22. I took the 20-10 test for one of my activities. For this I thought about the way I was living my life. I am fairly happy with the person I am. The only thing I would change is probably acting upon certain things. Like, when I tell myself I'll do something big to change a life or help people, I never seem to get around to it. If I was told that I only had a limited time to live I would go out, and get those things done. But, I am quite happy with the person I am now. I also chose Picture Yourself at 90. I seemed to see myself happy. I can't seem to bring myself to picture kids, or grandkids, that was rather fuzzy. I feel like I might have children, but it isn't a goal in my life, so I don't see that immediently. I do see myself healthy (or as healthy as a 90 year old can be) and happy with the life that I have lived thus far.

  23. For my meaning activities I dedicated someting to my mom and I pictured myself at ninety. I dedicated a race to my mom. I swam one of the fastest 100 freestyles to my mom. It doesn't seem like much, but to both of us, it was. I hadn't had a very good meet, which isn't fun for either one of us. She drives me everywhere, has paid for travel meets, lessons, monthly and yearly fees, and she does it because she loves me. I got u on the block and swam for her because I know how much she likes to see me succeed. It helped me swim fast. I also pictured myself at ninety. I'd like to think that when I'm ninety I'll still be swimming in some way. I also hope that I have done everything that was important to me. I hope I pursue everything I love and make a living doing something that is important to me. I hope that I have a big family that is always right there with me. I hope that I live without worrying about the best option for anyone else and do what I know is best for me.

  24. For my meaning portfolio activities I chose to do the "20-10 Test" and the "Dedicate My Work." For the 20 million dollars test I realized that I actually would live life similarly to how I do today. I just think that I would lavish it more like maybe a bigger house, nice car, etc. but overall my life would still be going to a high school to learn and see friends. For the ten years left to live test I realized that I probably would change my life dramatically. Instead of spending 7 hours at school everyday I would go find other things to do. I would also need to find a sponsor in order to have the money to complete my life goals. I also think I would live a faster paced life. Instead of saying, "Oh I'll do it tomorrow," I would more likely say, "Let's do it right now." For my dedicate my work activity I realized that I already do tend to dedicate it to someone. I just never actually give acknowledgement. I am always dedicating my work to who ever has assigned it, helped me accomplish it, or expects something of it. This allows me to do my best on every aspect of life.
